This is an amateur music video which we recorded while exploring the Hoh rainforest in Washington State. Nick and I decided that we wanted to record a song while we were galavanting among the mosses, bugs and foliage of the area, and I had been wanting to write a song that would involve the thumb piano for quite some time. Our idea of a pilgrimage to the rainforest made it necessary to bring instruments that were easy to hike with, so thumb piano and low penny whistle seemed a worthwhile combination, regardless of the curious onlookers who peered at us strangely from the trail as we were recording with these unorthodox instruments, and the numerous mosquitos who chose to attack us while we were occupied performing. dumb.
